Obaapanin Akosua Afriyie celebrated her 60 th birhtday with a heavy support from her family, friends and the Ghanaian Community here in Chicago recently. The event took place at the 83rd and Elllis Community Center.

D.J Booggie kept revelers all night long on their feet with his selection of the best hits in the 60's ,70's and 80's. Young Adowa dancers and a professional Adowa dancer from Ghana, Nana Serwa Wirebi, who mesmerished President George Bush with her Adowa dancing skills whilst the American President was visiting Ghana recently , wowed the crowd with a fantastic performance.
