Paa Kwesi celebrates 40 with a record crowd!

The common cliché "Life Begins at Forty" manifested with a larger meaning when family and friends of Paa Kwesi Sam on Saturday October 24 2009 massed at the 83rd and Ellis community center to celebrate Paa Kwesi's Fortieth birthday. Paa Kwesi Sam is the Business manager of the Ghana National Council (GNC). He also doubles as the President of the Okuapeman Association and Representative of Okuapeman on the GNC.

The GNC was highly represented at the party by the President, Mr.John Henry Assabil and the Moderator, Dr. Mark Kutame. The Journalist,Mr. Berko Akoto,of the monthly newspaper, The African Spectrum, was also there to support Paa Kwesi Sam.

The white and green colors chosen by the celebrant for the party represent the beginning of life at forty cliché. The White color connotes,purity, life and happiness whilst the green color signifies growth and renewal in many cultures.

Despite the simmering heat in the hall, the celebrant and over 400 attendees danced all night long to music provided by DJ's Boogie and Bonsu. D.J Bonsu had his "trade mark" Ghana flag firmly posted high on the wall above the D.J stand! The occasion gave the chance for the older and younger generations of Ghanaians to intermix on the same stage. The Adinkrah youth group presented Paa Kwesi with a gift.

The family of Paa Kwesi Sam express their gratitude to the community for making Paa’s 40th birthday a memorable one.

The event was emceed by Nana Marfo and “Mayor” Boafo Papapfio. Peter Wilson and Bedzra Consultant LLC took pictures at the party. The best video production in town, Nanaeffe video production covered the event.
